At Songhees Tours, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for all guests. As an Indigenous-led business rooted in Lək̓ʷəŋən teachings of respect, relational accountability, and belonging, we believe accessibility is a reflection of both legal responsibility and cultural values.

2. Accessible Tour Options
We offer and continuously improve the following options:
Walking Tours

Wheelchair-accessible routes

Rest points throughout the tour

Ability to use customer-provided microphones or hearing assistance devices for ease of hearing

Printed materials available on request

Tours paced to suit diverse mobility levels
Canoe Tours

Canoes require basic mobility to enter/exit with assistance

Guests with limited mobility are encouraged to contact us in advance—we can discuss suitability or adapt a custom experience
Custom Experiences
We design group and private tours for schools, Elders, and guests with accessibility requirements. These may include:

Alternative transportation options

Adapted content or storytelling formats
3. Service Animals and Support Persons

Service animals are welcome on all outdoor tours

Support persons are welcome to accompany guests at no additional charge (please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly)
