Yes. Walking tours are open to all ages. Canoe tours welcome children ages 5 and up, making them a unique family-friendly activity in Victoria.

We provide life jackets for all canoe experiences. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking or paddling. Bringing water and sunscreen is recommended for summer tours.

Walking tours are generally accessible for most abilities. Canoe tours require basic mobility, but please let us know in advance of any mobility or accessibility needs so we can make accommodations wherever possible.

We welcome walk-up visitors at the Inner Harbour, but we recommend booking your tour online in advance to guarantee your spot — especially during peak summer months.

Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance are fully refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, unless due to verified medical or emergency reasons.

Tours may be cancelled for bad weather, safety concerns, or cultural reasons. If this happens, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.

Yes. Each tour is led by Indigenous guides from the Songhees Nation who share Lək̓ʷəŋən language, history, and cultural traditions connected to the land and waters of the region.

Guests are welcome to take respectful photos and videos during the tours. Please note that some cultural teachings and ceremonies are sacred and may not be recorded. Your guide will let you know when photos are not appropriate.
